Looks like someone is putting together a motley crew on the Allston/Brighton line. Anybody know anything about these posters? I thought they may have been plastered by a band stopping by the ICC, but Chris Devers (who posted this Goldenstash masterpiece) spotted another solicitation across town. Latin Kings? MS-13? Winter Hill Gang 2K9?

Is this guy in a graffiti shirt trying to pass himself off as Banditos Misteriosos??
Who ever is throwing this is even using a Banditos picture to advertise the event! Did you get permission (from the photographer) to use that picture or did you just steal it? (I don’t see any photo credit so I’m thinking that you stole it.)
I checked Facebook and Misteriosos.org, this is NOT A BANDITOS MISTERIOSOS EVENT!

(how can it be a secret? 500 or more have turned out for every Bandito event!)
Nice to see that you got permission for the photo but it’s still a pic of a Bandito’s Misteriosos event and this whatever tonight is, is being put on by some unknown person or group so it’s weird that you would use a photo of a Banditos Misteriosos event (as a fan of Banditos Misteriosos this looks like false advertising to me).
If the host is so psyched and, “Looking for another huge turn out this time!” why can’t you use a pic from one of THEIR events?
Not sure if this blogger is holding the event or just promoting it but I’m sure you get my drift about the pic

I apologize to anyone who was offended that we originally used a BM event picture to illustrate the story. It has been removed. We never had the intention of drawing any connection between tonight’s event and the flash mobs sponsored by BM.
Additionally, That Hottness is in no way connected to the organizers of tonight’s event, nor do we endorse it in any way. We’re merely a conduit for information.

I’m still curious who put this on and what happened. Will you publish a follow up tomorrow?

This is a surprisingly strong reaction against what was likely a fun event. I imagine the Misteriosos themselves would be thrilled to have other groups in Boston organizing impromptu get-togethers. It would be nice to see Boston display more of a collaborative spirit when it comes to social events.

My name is C-HOPE and I meant no harm to BANDITOS MISTERIOSOS or any Banditos by having this event. I did not even know of him until I read the comments on this post today. I am new to hosting fun events and he seems to be a veteran of fun events in Boston. Much RESPECT goes out to him and the BANDITOS. The group I have started is named HOPE HEADS and it is a faith based group that is dedicated to bringing people together through technology for fun, social events. The events we do will not always be related to the Christian faith and you do not have to Christian to be involved. Fellowship and social interaction is always a great thing for the Kingdom of God.
