The Christopher “Kid” Reid lookalike who’s been spotted around Boston in some flash retro gear has finally been identified by TH readers.
Casey Rankin (FTW) wrote in to let us know that the mystery man with the NES belt and 10-ton chains is actually an FTW DJ named Caezar.
We first spotted Caezar at Privus Lounge in July. Meg tried to snap a candid, over-the-shoulder shot while Caezar worked the room, but he caught us in the act and flashed a pouty, “Who me?” smile at the camera.
Mike, another TH reader, sent in a picture of him mugging on a street corner with an adoring fan. Most recently, Kerry from Proletariat ran into Caezar on the 1s and 2s at Good Life.
Once again, we have to wonder: will he be at the YOYOYO 90s Dance Jam? We are pulling for this guy to become a local celebrity.

I think we’re all just reveling in the fact that we’ve had the same experience of spotting him and thinking, “Damn, that is a bold move.”

He is already a Boston Celebrity in his own right. haha Caezar is straight fire!
LOL CZR has been around for years and if you know him you know he does not give a FUCK he does whaqt he wants when he wants and that my friends is admirable….honestly I wouldnt even be surprised if hes never heard of kid n play.
Caezar is the dude who used to dj naked at the limelight nyc raves in the early 90’s. There is no question that he has balls (pun intended)
