We finally got in touch with two of our favorite mixmasters in the city this week, DJ Die Young and Baltimoroder. The duo has a joint LP dropping on vinyl and digital download today, so we asked the beatsmiths what to expect from their new offering.

The good news is that they took the time to give us some really thoughtful answers about their influences, their styles, and the Boston music scene (complete with footnotes).

The bad news is…we don’t have time to post the interview on the site before the release. We’ve been swamped with new projects and a few unforeseen developments this week, so please bear with us until we can do it right.
